RARS Volunteer Examiners are accredited through the W5YI VEC. The RARS W5YI VE team will conduct exams at the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine across the street from RARSfest. DIRECTIONS TO VE TESTING SITE Exit the NS State Fairgrounds via gate #5 right onto northbound Youth Center Dr. on the west side of the fairgrounds. Turn right at the next intersection onto eastbound Trinity Lane. Turn left at the traffic light onto Blue Ridge Rd northbound. Turn right at the first street, William Moore Dr. Turn right at the stop sign (still William Moore Dr.) and watch for the building on your right. Park in the lot and follow signs to the auditorium. Walk-in registration and testing begin promptly at 9:00am. Walk-in registration will be accepted until 10:00am The W5YI exam fee is still $14. You MUST bring the following in order to take exams: A picture ID Your original license A copy of your license (to be sent with exam results). Any CSCEs to be used for credit toward upgrades.
