Thinking about joining RARS? Great! It's easy to join. We're not exclusive, and you join by simply sending in the application and dues.
There's no sponsorship required, and new members are not "voted in."
Anyone with an interest in Amateur Radio can join, but voting membership is reserved for licensed Amateurs only.
General membership dues are $18.00 per year, but see below for discounted and prorated dues.

Fill out the form and mail it with your check for dues made payable to RARS to the mailing address for the current treasurer shown on the form.

(Note: A membership form is not needed unless you need the Treasurer to update your member profile.)
Dues
The membership year is July 1 to June 30. Annual dues for the primary member (the first member in a family) are as follows.

| Youth/Senior Member | Licensed radio amateur 16 and under or 60 and over | $12.00 |
| Associate Member | Non-voting membership for non-licensed individuals | $9.00 |
| Family Member | Member of the primary member's immediate family | $5.00 |
Dues for new members (other than Family Members) are prorated based on the month in which you join.
The following table shows the proration schedule for each member category.
If the number of remaining months in the current membership year is six or less,
your membership will run for the balance of the current membership year and the entire following membership year (and your membership fee will be calculated accordingly on a proprated basis).
But if you join for a full year at RARSfest,
we will give you April, May and June of the current membership year for free!
